A charity Oktoberfest in the Brainerd Lakes area run as a shuttle-hop rather than a single-site festival: ticket holders ride between seven participating Gull Lake destinations all day. Each stop pours German beer samples and serves sausage, with live music along the way, and the ticket includes a commemorative mug. Now in its fifteenth year, it raises money for the Confidence Learning Center and other local charities.
