The Army's Huntsville-area Oktoberfest, run by Redstone Arsenal's Family and MWR office and now in its twenty-ninth year. Three days on the MWR Activity Field bring German cuisine, Paulaner poured in traditional steins and polka from Ted Lange and the Alpen Power Band, wrapped around a full carnival midway. A single admission price covers food, music and atmosphere, with an upgrade that adds unlimited rides. Despite the installation setting, the festival is open to the general public.
