Alyeska Resort turns its Daylodge into a two-evening beer hall at the foot of the Chugach Mountains, with German brass bands, Bavarian and Alaskan beers and German-inspired food. The programme leans hard into the silly side of the tradition: a best-dressed contest, yodeling, trivia and an "Adult Olympics" for grown-ups, plus kids' games and a potbelly pig petting zoo on the Saturday. Admission is free and the resort sells a weekend stay package that bundles collectible steins, food vouchers and tram tickets.
