Baraboo Oktoberfest

The Baraboo chamber stages its Oktoberfest on the Circus World grounds for a single Saturday evening, now in its fifth year. A ceremonial golden keg tapping opens the beer service in mid-afternoon, followed by a local beer choir, a polka band and an award-nominated headline act to close the night. Chamber volunteers grill bratwurst and sell pretzels while regional breweries and wineries pour and food trucks add sausages and schnitzel, with a costume contest and pub-style games in between sets. A "Tour de Prost" group bike ride through downtown feeds into the grounds.
