Devils Backbone gives over a full weekend at its Basecamp Brewpub & Meadows in Nelson County to Oktoberfest, opening Friday evening with a stein-hoisting kickoff and a prost toast over fresh Oktoberfest pours. Saturday is the long day - live bands through the afternoon and evening, a craft market, a Steinlifter keg tapping and two more stein contests - and Sunday winds down with vendors and a costume contest. German-inspired beer and food specials run all three days, and campers can stay on site.
