Bloktoberfest

Block 15 Brewing stages a two-day Oktoberfest under a big tent beside its Downtown Pub in Corvallis, pairing the brewery's German-style lagers with a kitchen turning out pretzels, currywurst and Alpine mac and cheese. Live bands play both nights, and the games run to stein-holding, a pretzel toss and a stein relay race, with college football on a big screen for anyone who would rather watch. Wearing lederhosen or a dirndl cuts the door price in half, and a pre-ordered stein package covers both days plus a commemorative mug and first fill.
