FreeFestival admission is free; food, drinks and activities are paid on site. The Bratwurst Festival 5K Color Run/Walk is a separate $35 entry through August 1, then $45.

Bucyrus has celebrated its German heritage with a three-day bratwurst festival every August for decades, closing Sandusky Avenue through the middle of town. The streets fill with sausage stands and food vendors, live music on multiple stages, a craft show, contests and pageants, and parades on more than one day. Admission is free, and a color run kicks off the final Saturday morning from Bucyrus High School.
