Canterbury Village Oktoberfest

Canterbury Village hosts a two-day Oktoberfest across its shopping-and-events campus in Lake Orion, with the weekend built around traditional German contests. Visitors can enter barrel rolling, stein holding and stein racing, nailing games, a sausage-eating contest and a best-dressed competition, with live music and themed food between rounds. A hay pyramid keeps younger children busy, the village's shops and eateries stay open, and admission is only a few dollars with under-12s free.
