The Cape May chamber closes off Carpenter Lane and part of Jackson Street for a one-day German street festival in the historic downtown. Bavarian music and food set the tone, with beer vendors, food courts and rows of tables selling crafts, antiques and collectibles. It runs all day and is free to walk into, with a rain date held in reserve for the Sunday.
