Cape Vincent Oktoberfest

The village of Cape Vincent on the St. Lawrence River holds its 18th annual Oktoberfest on the Village Green, a five-hour afternoon festival run by the local Chamber of Commerce. Beer ticket holders get a commemorative mug and ten samples, with German food from Gudrun & Elizabeth and American fare cooked by the Cape Vincent Fire Department. The Syracuse German Oktoberfest Band and Dancers provide the music and dancing. A separately priced Kid Zone with bounce houses and a costume contest round out the afternoon, and children twelve and under enter free.
