An eight-hour street festival in Wilcox Square in historic downtown Castle Rock, opened by a ceremonial keg tapping at one o'clock and closing with an evening DJ set. A German band plays through the afternoon and stein-hoisting contests run on the hour from mid-afternoon. Children get free bounce houses, a rock wall and inflatable games, and no ticket is needed to get in.
