The Coos County Historical Society throws a ticketed adults-only Oktoberfest each October to raise money for the Coos History Museum on the Coos Bay waterfront. One price covers German food and the afternoon's programme, with the Roseburg German Band playing live and a cakewalk, games and contests running alongside a silent auction. Higher-priced supporter and patron tickets are offered for people who want to give more than the base entry.
