Coral Springs Oktoberfest

Coral Springs puts on a free municipal Oktoberfest on the lawn outside its City Hall, opening with a ceremonial keg tapping. A German polka band plays while a beer garden serves Bavarian beers and German wines, and food trucks handle the schnitzel and strudel. Wiener dog races, stein challenges and a costume contest fill the evening, with a separate carnival area for children.
