Cuyahoga Falls Oktoberfest

Now in its forty-fifth year, the Cuyahoga Falls Oktoberfest closes Front Street downtown for a three-day street festival with no admission charge and free parking. Three stages - a Biergarten stage at the amphitheater near Broad Boulevard, a German Central stage near Portage Trail, and one on the Mall - alternate traditional German dancers and accordion sets with regional rock and cover bands. Four beer trucks pour from northeast Ohio breweries, and vendors serve bratwurst, schnitzel, pierogi and pretzels. Commemorative bier mugs are sold at the festival headquarters tent.
