Dayton Art Institute Oktoberfest

The Dayton Art Institute has turned its hillside grounds into one of the region's biggest Oktoberfests, run as the museum's signature annual fundraiser. The weekend opens Friday with a free Lederhosen Lunch and a ticketed evening Preview Party, then runs full days Saturday and Sunday. A covered main stage carries live music, a Weingarten and food court sit alongside more than fifty craft and international beers, and a juried artisan marketplace fills out the grounds. Children twelve and under get in free with an adult, and single-day admission is only eight dollars in advance.
