Deadwood's chamber spreads a two-day Oktoberfest along the historic gold-rush Main Street rather than confining it to one lot. Calamity's Climb runs both days at Outlaw Square, and Saturday adds a German car show, wiener dog races, a bratwurst cookoff and 21-and-over beer barrel games that end with an awards ceremony at the Bloody Nose Saloon. A mobile scavenger hunt called The Lost Lederhosen Hunt runs overnight between the two days. Most of the programming is free to watch; individual activities carry their own fees or registration.
