Elberta German Sausage Festival (October)

Baldwin County's sausage festival has run twice a year for decades, on the last Saturdays of March and October, as a fundraiser for the Elberta volunteer fire department. The October edition fills the town park from breakfast time to late afternoon with German sausage and side dishes cooked by local volunteers. Non-profits from around the area take booths, making it as much a community fundraiser as a heritage festival.
