The village puts on a free two-day Oktoberfest at Rotary Green on Lions Drive, opening Friday evening and running most of Saturday. Die Musikmeisters supply the German music both nights, and Saturday afternoon is given over to a FamilyFest block of free children's games and activities. The Oktoberfest Parade steps off Saturday afternoon before the evening program, with giant helium balloons, Percheron horses, local civic organizations and live music.
