The Elkhorn chamber turns the whole downtown over to Oktoberfest for one Saturday in mid-October. A morning classic car show and a 5K run lead into an afternoon of two live bands, stein hoisting, and craft and food vendors selling local and German fare. A beer and wine tasting runs through participating businesses around town.
