Fairport Oktoberfest

Fairport's Oktoberfest fills a festival site beside the Erie Canal for three days each September, run by the village's nonprofit business partnership with support from local Masonic, VFW and German-American groups. Polka bands and traditional German dancing share the stage with regional acts, and vendors including Swan Market and Red Osier serve German food and bier. Attractions such as a beer slide and a hammer game fill the grounds between sets. Admission is tiered by day and time of arrival, with free entry on Saturday morning and afternoon.
