The Army garrison at Fort Belvoir stages a four-day Bavarian festival on Pullen Field, opening Thursday evening and running through Sunday. German food and drink, music and dancing anchor the grounds, with a carnival alongside and a Volksmarch 5K/10K walk on the schedule. MWR runs it as a whole-family event rather than an adults-only beer tent.
