The Galena Lions Club has run this one-day Oktoberfest in Depot Park for nineteen years, and 2026 is the 19th annual edition. It runs from late morning to late evening with bratwurst, beer, live polka music and dancing, and alphorn playing. The signature draw is the wiener dog races, alongside a stein hoisting competition and apple cider donuts. A separate Kinder Area gives children pumpkin decorating, lawn games and free root beer.
