The organization behind New York's German-American Steuben Parade stages its own Oktoberfest in Central Park on parade day, using the SummerStage amphitheater at Rumsey Playfield. It is a ticketed afternoon-into-evening celebration that follows the march up Fifth Avenue. Children's tickets are priced well below adult admission, and a VIP tier adds reserved seating near the stage, catered food, private restrooms and included beer.
