Missoula's annual celebration of its sister-city bond with Neckargemuend, Germany, held riverside at Caras Park since 1993. The day mixes live music, brats, pretzels and ice cream with family games, and culminates in the finals of the Montana State Stein Holding Championship, whose men's and women's winners advance to the national competition in Cincinnati. Qualifying rounds are held on Friday evenings at Bayern Brewing in the weeks beforehand.
