Germania Oktoberfest

Columbus's Germania Singing & Sport Society hosts its Oktoberfest at its own hall on South Front Street in the Brewery District. The weekend leans on the club's musical roots, with polka bands, choirs and alphorn players rotating through, plus a stein-holding qualifier. Bratwurst, German and Ohio craft beers, dancing and desserts fill out the rest. It is a club-scale event, distinct from the much larger Schmidt's-run Columbus Oktoberfest across town.
