Germantown Pretzel Festival

A free two-day street festival in Germantown, Ohio, a Miami Valley town whose German settlers gave it both its name and its soft-pretzel tradition. Running since 1980, it fills Veterans Memorial Park with pretzel and food stands, craft sellers, carnival rides and a beer garden beside the entertainment shelter. Live bands, cloggers and chainsaw carvers perform across both days, and a Queen and Princess contest is a long-standing fixture. A new Kids Zone of inflatables and games makes it an easy stop for families.
