Gilde is the US outpost of a centuries-old German brewing house, and it throws its Oktoberfest across three long weekends in Charlotte's Lower South End. Each day runs from opening to closing with German beer and food from the kitchen, plus live music on the floor. Keg tappings and stein-holding contests punctuate the weekends.
