Hardywood's West Creek brewery gives over a full weekend to German beer, with The Sauerkrauts playing both afternoons and a stein-hoisting contest raising money for a local charity. Saturday runs to food vendors and competition, Sunday adds face painting and a quieter afternoon set. It sits on the brewery's own grounds in far western Richmond rather than at its city taproom.
