Historic Smithville Oktoberfest

Historic Smithville, a restored shopping village in Galloway Township on the Atlantic County mainland, gives over an October weekend to an Oktoberfest that leans heavily on crafts. More than 150 juried crafters set up around the village's shops, joined by an international food court and nonprofit tables. The village's permanent attractions stay open through the weekend, including a train, a carousel, paddle boats and antique arcades, with a jumping house and face painting for children. Admission and the shuttle from remote parking are both free.
