The Highlands Ranch Community Association runs its Oktoberfest at the town centre, opening with a morning 5K before the festival itself takes over the afternoon and evening. German food and beer are served alongside stage entertainment and stein-hoisting contests. The 5K is deliberately casual, welcoming strollers and dogs as well as club runners.
