Immanuel Lutheran School Oktoberfest

Immanuel Lutheran's school fundraiser in central Elmhurst runs a single Saturday afternoon into the evening under a tent on the church grounds. Polka from Die Musikmeisters plays outside while classical recitals run in the church, and the kitchen turns out bratwurst, schnitzel and pretzels alongside a beer garden. A supervised Kinderzone of crafts, face painting and games keeps it workable for families, with proceeds going to the school's Eagle Fund.
