A free two-day street festival that closes Washington Street through downtown Junction City and draws crowds of more than thirty thousand. More than seventy food, craft and retail vendors line the street alongside four craft beer sellers, with German beverages and food such as pretzels, schnitzel and brats. Der Manhattan Polka Band, Brass Rewind and Bavarian folk dancers perform, and two kids zones carry inflatables, a climbing wall, mini golf and carnival games. Strength, stamina and yodeling contests, a car show and a pro wrestling card round out the weekend.
