Kent Oktoberfest

Main Street Kent turns the downtown blocks into a one-day Bavarian street party each October. The day opens with a 5K and a one-mile fun run out of Heritage Park, then rolls into an afternoon of polka, German folk dancing and country music across four acts, with seasonal beer from local breweries and German-inspired plates from a rotating cast of neighborhood food vendors. Two steinholding rounds, both 21-and-over, award engraved liter mugs to whoever can hold out the longest.
