The Bavarian-styled village of Leavenworth in Washington's Cascades throws its Oktoberfest across three October weekends, running Friday evenings and all day Saturday. Three stages sit inside two ticketed beer-garden venues - the Leavenworth Festhalle at the east end of Front Street and Front Street Park - with a Saturday afternoon keg tapping in the park. A separate Kinderplatz area gives families a Ferris wheel, carnival games and face painting, and children twelve and under get in free.
