The Lee's Summit Chamber of Commerce runs a three-day Oktoberfest on the city's Green Street Festival Grounds, with multiple music stages, a Bierhaus and a crowded slate of competitions. Alongside German food, stein hoisting and a costume fashion faceoff, Schuhplattler folk dancers perform and a home brew tasting runs on the side. A Kids Zone with inflatables, a petting zoo and pony rides keeps it aimed at families.
