Lone Tree's Oktoberfest

The City of Lone Tree holds its Oktoberfest on a single Saturday afternoon at Schweiger Ranch, a restored historic homestead on the city's edge. Admission is free and the German end of things is handled by polka dancing, a stein hoisting contest and a live band mixing traditional sounds with Colorado ones. Mobile axe throwing, giant pong, cornhole, food trucks and inflatables for children fill the rest of the afternoon, and proceeds benefit a local inclusive-living community.
