Maymont sets a Munich-style Festhaus tent with long communal tables on its Carriage House Lawn for a two-day German weekend on the Richmond estate. German folk dancers, stein hoisting and tug-of-war run alongside a children's zone, an artisan market and a dachshund-led pup parade, and admission also covers the estate's nature centre. Paulaner pours share the bar with local craft beer, wine and cider.
