The small McMenamins hotel on the north Oregon coast closes out the chain's Oktoberfest run with a free evening in Livingstone's Room. A band plays for a couple of hours while the kitchen serves currywurst, potato salad and a German-style chicken sandwich. The annual McMenamins Oktoberfest Lager is poured alongside seasonal desserts.
