The Medford Business Association fills Freedom Park with a free two-day Oktoberfest and music festival, spreading bands across four stages from a Friday evening into a full Saturday. A beer garden pours from Medford's own breweries alongside international taps, and a food court mixes German cooking with food trucks. Contests run through the weekend — stein holding, a bratwurst eating contest, trivia and dance demonstrations — and Saturday adds a kids' zone plus a business and craft vendor area.
