Mifflinburg's Oktoberfest fills the borough's community park for a Friday afternoon-into-night and a full Saturday, now in its third decade. The mayor opens it with a ceremonial firkin tapping, and the Saturday programme adds keg tossing and mug lifting contests. German imported beers, craft options and wine are poured alongside German and American food stands, with souvenir glass mugs and ceramic steins sold with beer tickets. A designated-driver birch beer programme covers anyone doing the driving.
