PaidFrom $10. Thursday and Friday until 4 p.m. are complimentary with a ticket requested online. From Friday 4 p.m. onward general admission starts at $10 online or $12 at the gate. VIP experiences start from $197. Children under 3 enter free.

Nashville's oldest festival takes over the lawns of Bicentennial Capitol Mall for four days at the start of October, drawing one of the largest Oktoberfest crowds in the country. Alongside German and local beers there is a full slate of competitions, including a stein-holding contest that doubles as a Tennessee state championship qualifier, a brat-eating contest and a Dachshund Derby run as a fundraiser for a local animal charity. A Saturday-morning 5K through the neighbouring Germantown streets opens the weekend's busiest day.
