Newnan's Oktoberfest is a downtown walking tasting rather than a fenced festival: ticket holders collect a commemorative mug and work their way around more than thirty businesses on and near Courthouse Square, each pouring a sample. Shops that are not serving beer put out refreshments and retail offers, and the evening ends with an after-party at a nearby brewery taproom. Tickets are capped and normally sell out ahead of the date.
