Nod Hill runs a three-week fest season in its Ridgefield biergarten rather than a single Oktoberfest day, pouring festbier and Marzen in steins from mid-September into early October. Oompah bands play in the biergarten on Saturday afternoons, with a stein-holding competition and German food specials from the brewery's kitchen. Entry to the biergarten is open, so it functions as a drop-in festival across several weekends.
