Oak Park closes out an autumn Saturday evening with a German-themed street party inside its 11 Mile Water Tower Social District, the city-designated zone where open containers are permitted. It runs a single five-hour block rather than a full weekend, which keeps it compact and walkable. Local coverage describes German music and food alongside a costume contest and a stein-holding competition.
