Carlos Creek Winery hosts a free one-day Oktoberfest at 22 Northmen Brewing Co., the brewery on its Alexandria estate. Three bands play across the day while guests take part in stein relays, stein-holding and a sausage swing, and the grounds offer pumpkin throwing, hay rides, bonfires and brewery tours. Food comes from a wood-fired pizza operation and visiting trucks.
