The Gilmore Car Museum pairs a German car show with a Bavarian beer hall for one Saturday in mid-October. German food, German beer and an oom-pah band run through the day, and visitors in traditional dress compete for trophies. The distinctive part is the German Car Color Tour, a driving route through the autumn colour that departs every twenty minutes from mid-morning. Owners can register a vehicle for the show separately from general admission.
