Bronwyn is a Union Square restaurant built around the food of Germany and central Europe, so its Oktoberfest is less a bolt-on than an annual peak. For three days in September a visiting pop-up biergarten sets up at the restaurant, pouring German beer beside the kitchen's sausages, schnitzel and pretzels. The Saturday and Sunday of the run open at noon rather than the usual dinner-only service.
