Crooked Thumb puts a festival tent over its beer garden in Safety Harbor for two days at the end of September, calling it the brewery's favourite party of the year. A German-style fest bier is released for the occasion, a sausage house caters, and polka bands play both evenings. Stein-hoisting contests run at eight o'clock each night.
