Oktoberfest at Fort Moore

Fort Moore's garrison MWR runs an Oktoberfest each October at its Uchee Creek campground on the river, a nod to the long-standing German army detachment ties at the post. It is a three-day weekend event and, unusually for an on-post celebration, the public can attend without a visitor's pass if they come in from the Alabama highway side. Programme details for 2026 were still being published at the time of checking.
