Paid$10 cash at the gate for ages 21 and older (no fee); $10 + $2.51 fee = $12.51 via Eventbrite. Free for ages 20 and younger. ID required for entrance.

The Lancaster Liederkranz, a German heritage club that has preserved German music, song, dance and language since 1880, hosts what it calls Lancaster County's oldest traditional Oktoberfest. The club's Alpenrose Schuhplattler dance group presents the three-day festival outdoors under a pavilion and large tents on the club's Manheim grounds, rain or shine. It runs Friday evening through Sunday afternoon with German food, imported beer, music and folk dancing, and the clubhouse itself closes for the duration.
